Memphis, Tenn———Over the years when LeMoyne-Owens(LOC) and Lane College basketball teams meet both gyms exceed seating capacity. Such was the case as Saturday night and the crowds got their moneys worth as LOC won the doubleheader contest
Lady Magicians led from start to finish holding off a late second half charge by the Lady Dragons 67-53.
Mens contest was different. Defense was featured in tonights low scoring contest. LOC led at the half 28-19 but was outscored 39-33 in the second crossing the finish line 61-58 pushing their overall season record of 13-5 (8-4) in conference standing. The two meet again Feb.11th.
